@technomadmn3 years ago I remember when I was visiting western mongolian province years ago, my brother and I stumbled upon a similar sized huushuur at an aimag naadam. The cook (a nomad herder) had what we call a 40 liter soviet era milk canister made from thick aluminium. We asked if he could let us do a taste first and pulls out a huge disc shaped huushuur on a plate. We almost went full belly. Needless to say the taste was delicious. Air, water, meat and flour used for it was free of any pollutants so it had to be good. ... 56

What a crazy crowded forest out in the middle of the prairie. I'm guessing this forest is for pole logs, perhaps for yurts and not for actual timber? No room for the trees to grow properly in there, so crowded.
The milk drink looks very nutritious, I'll have to google what it is! ... 8

@ericmabley21203 years ago There is a Mongolian restaurant here in Los Angeles that serves khuushuur with homemade cole slaw just like that. But you get three small ones per order, not a giant Ichinojo sized one. 5
