On 14th September 1846, Gagan was shot dead. When queen Rajya Laxmi Devi heard this news, she became angry and sorrowful. She took oaths to take revenge. She issued an order to find out the criminal. General Jung Bahadur Rana requested the queen to convene an assembly of all the nobles at the Kot to enquire into the crime and punish the culprits...
