Simple 10 second timer for my Electric Aircraft

Simple 10 second timer for my aircraft. I have a project in mind where I want a small electric motor to run for 10 seconds for a powered climb on a small glider. The LiPo battery came from a disposable e-cigarette, the rest of the components were in my scrap box. I have not attempted to optimise the circuit so you may find a different transistor will give you less power loss and most circuits I looked at have a resistor between the base and pin 3 on the 555. This circuit will handle a higher voltage than I am using so you could use a bigger battery and a different motor. Varying R1 and C1 values will change the duration. There are plenty of timer circuits on YouTube.
