Cross Check Color Melt How to Balayage Blend with NO BLEACH

Cross check colormelt!! The more I do colormelts the more I fall in love with them. This is a new technique I’ve been trying out which is perfect to blend grown out highlights without using any bleach. Using @joico lumishine toners, I begin by depositing 7nwb from her roots to mids, starting on her part. Then I added 6nwb and 5n right on top focusing on her root. This is where the “cross check” technique comes into play. Taking vertical sections, I go through to ensure even distribution of the product and blend down. After rinsing all of that out we toned all over with 10nwb and we are left with this gorgeous “lived in” blonde. 💁🏼‍♀️ The @joico lumishine toners are my favorite when it comes to colormelts and toning out brass. They also smell like candy and leave the hair so shiny and soft. My clients are always obsessed with not only how their hair looks, but how it feels and even smells!!!
