Ingredients for Mirchi Ka Salan (to serve 6 people)
Measurements in cups refer to the standard kitchen tools available in market
Salan
Roasted Peanuts - 1 cup
Roasted Til - 1 cup
Desiccated Coconut - ¾ cup
Curd - 1 cup
Chilli Powder - 1½ tsp
Dhaniya Powder - 1 tsp
Jeera Powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp (if preferred)
Jaggery - 1½ tsp
Onions - 3 Medium Sized
Green Chillies - 5-6 (for gravy)
Green Chillies - 10 (deseeded and fried)
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1½ tsp
Salt to taste
For Seasoning
Mustard - 1 tsp
Jeera - 1 tsp
Methi seeds - ½ tsp
Red Chillies - 5-6
Curry Leaves - 8-10
