An easy way to make chicken legs at home with simple marination.
Ingredients:-
- 6 Chicken legs
- Curd 4 tbspn
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbspn
- Half lemon
- Garam masala 1/2 tspn
- Red chilli powder 2 tspn
- Coriander powder 1 tspn
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tspn
- Oil 6 tbspn
- Salt 1 tspn or as per taste
Chicken preparation:-
First marination:
- Wash and clean chicken. Cut thin slits for the spices to be absorbed
-To this, add lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, oil (4 tbspn) and salt
- Mix well and rest for 15 mins
Second marination:
- Add curd, red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala
- Mix everything well and rest for 15 more mins
Procedure:-
- Heat oil (2 tbspn) in a pan
- Add chicken legs, cover lid and let it cook for 10 mins in medium flame
- Time to add remaining mixture, cover lid and let it cook for 5 mins in low flame
- Mix well, cover lid and let it cook for 5 mins in low to medium flame
- Mix well, cover lid and cook for 5 mins more (if the chicken is not cooked)
- Serve it with main course
