Take a first detailed look at the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser 70 Series four-cylinder, which will sit alongside the V8 engine but promises quicker deliveries to Australian buyers. Would you do it?
This is the first four-cylinder 70 Series Cruiser in 32 years (since 1991). The classic Land Cruiser picks up a 2.8-litre turbo four-cylinder with 150kW/500Nm - with an automatic transmission! The manual 4.5-litre V8 continues on but orders remain paused due to very slow supply.
Australian buyers stuck in the long queue for a V8 will be offered an earlier delivery of a four-cylinder.
Plus there are some design changes inside and out plus new safety tech.
