@tm5brown5208 months agoMy D chord sounded so low and I thought it was because my guitar wasn't tuned. Wasn't that. I thought I might've been playing it wrong. Wasn't that. I just was playing the top two chords, and it sounded too low. Fixed it, and now when I play Dandelions by Ruth B, it sounds worlds better. Thanks! ...14

@Jackoman18 months agoThank man I've been doing it wrong by getting the 3rd finger in the middle of the 3rd fret, pressing extra hard and injuring my fingers 6
@
@roscmonlast monthI've only been learning for about 3 months but i figured out that i like switching my index and middle finger. Middle finger on 2nd fret, G string, index finger on 2nd fret, E string, ring finger on 3rd fret B string. This feels more natural and it's easier. But I'm concerned that there's a reason that i should work on doing it correctly instead of doing it this easier way. Can someone tell me if I'm going to run into issues down the line by switching my first 2 fingers? ...1

@darrenjones30806 months agoI hate this chord. I can play it fine by itself, but I really struggle switching from A to D without missing a beat (using a metronome for example). When I rush/hurry the change I always end up muting the thinnest string. Not sure if its a problem with finger two or three but yeah its bloody annoying after a week and still struggling! I cant even play the most basic of songs until I learn to swap from A to D without missing a beat.....but I'll get there eventually !! ...1
