The Chicago rapper exploded onto the hip-hop scene in 2018 when he released the track ‘Finer Things’ which garnered millions of views and streams. The next year he released his debut studio album Die A Legend (2019) which would go on to be a platinum-selling album. In 2020 he released his second studio album The Goat which also went on to become a platinum-selling album and it had 10 songs that charted on the Billboard Hot 100. He was also named an XXL Freshman for the 2020 Class alongside artists such as Jack Harlow and Baby Keem. Polo G came from a violent neighborhood and worked extremely hard to have a successful career. He stands out by being one of the only trap artists to incorporate conscious lyrics into his music.
