Culled from Youth-Led Movement SL Female Genital Mutilation in Sierra Leone is the common practice of removing all or part of the female genitalia for non medical reasons. We believe FGM is a Human Rights Violation and child abuse and we as a movement are therefore committed to advocating for its total eradication. Early this year, we started a social media campaign, working towards ending this practice in Sierra Leone. As part of our campaign, we’ve put together an advocacy song/video to help promote our cause. We are very much grateful to these two young, inspiring, selfless and mega talented young artists Louise Sia and Yves Dino Mensa- Bonsu aka Din...Oh! for putting together such an educative piece.
