Based on a 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, the virtually indestructible KITT (Knight Industries Two Thousand) worked with David Hasselhoff's character to fight crime. At the time this was the coolest car and remains to be an awesome bit of design with it's stealthy angular looks, black paint job and animated red front light bar.
