Star Wars Battlefront II is a modern day videogames tragedy. I can only imagine how disappointed the people of DICE, Criterion and Motive must feel to have produced a game so strong, and so faithful to the source material, only to have it received in this way because of EA's targeting interventions. This review is for the developers more than anything else. I wanted to pay tribute to the fine work they've done, while cautioning against the potential impact that a game like this would have on the future were it allowed to succeed.
