This was a one way ticket, which was scheduled for departure on 17 July. In case you're interested, exact details of this flight: Flight No.: SQ 8122 Departure 17 July 2019 Singapore Airlines Aircraft: Boeing 777-200 SYDNEY (SYD) to SINGAPORE (SGD) Now two weeks before my flight, Scoot Airlines sent an email saying that my Scoot aircraft had been changed to a Singapore Airlines Carrier; Scoot Airlines had engaged with Singapore Airlines to charter their TR 3 Sydney - Singapore flight because there was tighter aircraft utilization across Scoot's network. I was pretty stoked, because i'd paid $285 for a Scoot Economy Seat, but now could enjoy a Singapore Airlines product! (i checked prices - one way from Sydney to Singapore on Singapore Airlines that day was ~$550 AUD) For some reason, (and i still dont know why), when i checked in at the Scoot check in kiosk back at Sydney International Airport, (i wasn;t able to online check in) the lady at the counter handed me a Singapore Airlines Business Class Ticket. I didn't book Scoot Biz, (Scoot Business Class), nor did i try to bid for Scoot Biz. I dont even have a Kris Flyer Membership, so i really don't know how this happened. So i can really only put this upgrade down as a mistake... See I had never been in business class on Singapore Airlines before , so consider this a review video of that. It may be a bit biased because i was so excited; i'd been randomly bumped from a Budget Airline's Economy class to now the business class in one of the world's best airlines!
