This video will present some of the ideas in "On the Measure of Intelligence". I think it's really interesting to think of the scale of generalization from absent, local, broad, to extreme generalization. I think local to broad will quickly become the same idea with the use of data augmentation and generative models. Extreme generalization seems highly ambitious, but I think something like POET at least puts an actionable framework together to think about it. The video will also briefly mention human prior knowledge, the cognitive hierarchy, and benchmarks in AI. Thanks for watching! Please Subscribe! We will be releasing our discussion of the paper on Machine Learning Street Talk very soon.
