This Hummus Recipe will help you make creamy and delicious hummus in a few minutes.
Hummus is a healthy snack made from chickpeas.Its a middle eastern cuisine.Hummus goes pretty well with crunchy vegetables or with Pita bread.
Homemade Oven fresh Pita bread and Freshly made Hummus are the best combination.
We will need only a few ingredients to make Hummus
Ingredients for making hummus
Cooked Chickpeas/Canned chickpeas :250 g
Tahini: 1/4 cup or 60g
Lemon Juice: 1 tbsp
Cumin powder:1 tsp
Cold Water:3 tbsp+1 tbsp with Tahini
2 cloves of garlic
Olive oil:2 tbsp
How to make Hummus
Blend together,the cooked chickpeas,garlic,cumin powder,lemon juice,olive oil and water.Until it is creamy and smooth.
Then add Tahini and 1 tbsp cold water.
Now the Hummus will get a little thicker.
The hummus will be so creamy and delicious.
Transfer the hummus on to a shallow bowl and drizzle with some olive oil and some chill powder/sumac/cayenne.
This hummus recipe can serve 4-5 people.
Serve Fresh!
This Hummus recipe is so easy to make and the hummus tastes so good.
It is so much better than store-bought cold hummus.

The hummus was creamy and smooth and so tasty i didnt have tahini so i m id="hidden3"ade it myself using another youtube video and i used 4 garlic pods as mine were pretty small pita bread recipe although a little time consuming it was delicious.
