Drone & Timelapse of Crazy Renovation

This mashup of drone shots and timelapse photography really demonstrates what has been involved with our "super reno". The 2nd floor only had 8' walls and we wern't going to change those until we saw how badly damaged the trusses were. Low heel height and poor construction led to some significant rot and damage to the sheeting and trusses. With that knowledge we decided to install new trusses with a proper 12" heel height for adequate attic insulation. Since we were adding and changing so many windows, it was worth the effort to ditch the old 8' walls and install 9' walls for obvious reasons. This also allowed room for ductwork on the 2nd floor instead of having bulkheads on the main floor which would drastically limit the view from an already low ceiling height.
